POSITION:

US Sales

Remote based in the USA

EXPECTATIONS:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to exceed the minimum sales quota.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales and business development of mineral processing equipment and systems into the mining, aggregate and wastewater industries.
  • Contribute to the Sales Team goals and objectives, improve lead generation and sales success, maintain customer relations and facilitate expanding relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Process Engineers for technical support and communication with the customer during presentations and sales meetings.
  • Work with the Proposal Engineers and the Engineering & Design Team to ensure timely and accurate quotations for our customers.
  • Successfully negotiate sales contracts while maintaining compliance to company policies.
  • Provide regular customer follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer database using Salesforce.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows and other marketing events.
  • Travel is required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 5 years as an accomplished SALES PERSON with capital equipment in the mining or related industry.
  • Familiar with mineral processing equipment and systems applications in mining, aggregates, or wastewater is an asset.
  • Engineering degree is an asset.
  • Works well as a team player and equally motivated and organized to work independently.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Salesforce
  • Efficiently organize, schedule and prioritize work.
  • Proven history of reaching sales goals.
  • Confident and effective. communication, negotiation and customer relations skills.
